Required Reading
If I ever teach a class, I'm making T.C. Boyle's *Tortilla Curtain* mandatory. I don't even care that I'm not teaching Lit. Holy crap that book will make you think. Heartbreaking..thought-provoking...well-organized...symbolic...Damn, that's some of the best $6.50 I've spent at a used book store yet!
Read it. Now.
